We want our children coming to school hungry to learn rather than hungry to eat. I really feel strongly that through the goodness and generosity of the Bulldogs’ Foundation we’ve been able to better serve many thousands of our students for a number of years.

This program is like a lifeline to families facing food insecurity. They are still going to come to a foodbank but this is a crucial addition to that – they count on it.

Opportunities like this (school nutrition program) in the community are hugely important and I think also with the Bulldogs championing this cause (childhood hunger) – the Bulldogs really familiar, friendly cool face in the community help children embrace the program.
